About St Michael Trebanos

St Michael’s Church Trebanos is located toward the south of the Cwm Tawe Ministry Area, in Trebanos, Neath Port Talbot. The church opened in October 1912, as a daughter Church to St Mary’s Church Clydach.

Alongside St Mary’s Clydach, St Michael’s Trebanos has served an Anglican community which grew with the founding of the Nickel Works now known locally as the Mond (after its founder Dr Ludwig Mond), at the start of the 20th century.

In recent years, a kitchen has been added to the church.
