About St Cynog Church, Ystradgynlais
St Cynog Church Ystradgynlais is located toward the north of the Cwm Tawe Ministry Area, in the town of Ystradgynlais, Powys. Located on medieval foundations, the church we know today was constructed in 1861.
The church serves a diverse population, regularly holding All Age Worship services for children and families in the area, and sometimes Welsh language services for local Welsh speakers.
The church is also home to a large churchyard, which is currently almost full, and has several war graves.
